Blocks with programming?
Hello all.
I was wondering if we can make blocks with some programming work, so that they become "smart".
For example, in a section we have a window with two vertical panels, for a 1m width window.
Now if the building has different width-s, we need new windows.
If there was one block that we can till it that the width is such, and the minimum width of the panel is this, and it should be near to these sizes (50cm, 60cm, 70cm, etc.), this will make the work a lot easier.
Imagine the situation with wardrobes as well. Plans.
Is such a thing possible? What if it was implemented? Is it useful?

Basically what you want is possible through the use of components and parametric arrays. See here for a 3D example.

I'll try that, thanks!
But I must be in Mechanical mode right?0 -
No, you do not have to start from a mechanical profile. But a Platinum license is necessary.

And sorry for the late reply

@SafaAlFulaij:
I am afraid the documentation regarding this is a bit sparse. But there is a training guide available here that has some useful exercises.0
