xref command

i am working on number of drawings and those all are related to each other,
if i xref in one file all the drgs and there is a change on one of the file the nin autocad there will be a notification in right bottom side that there are some changes in so and so file and nee to reload the file but in bricscad i don't see any notifications, everytime i have to go to cref command and then from there i have top refresh that modified file,
please give me any option available for this.

Check these settings:
XREFNOTIFY
XNOTIFYTIME

Xref notification seems to work just fine here.

Yes its working for me also but the notify time is minimum 1 min
can't we make it like whenever there is a change in parent file and then we come to the xref file there will be immediate notification to update,
because we have to wait for one minute to make the changes update and if there are two many files the time you will calculate to wait will be huge.

Hello,

for immediate notification, you might use the OS (Windows) system functionality for "notify on changed file" (i.e. as many text editors use it to signal "externally changed - reload ?" functionality)

But of course, for this approach the dwg file needs to be changed (saved) to disk ...
