Electrical workflow in BricsCAD
Hi all. We're an electrical firm exploring BricsCAD and trying to figure out if it could be a substitute for Revit. I've tried searching the forums, tried googling around, but there isn't really a good answer.
Essentially, has anyone from the electrical, or MEP side, switched over to BricsCAD from Revit? Playing through the trial version, the software doesn't appear to be built for electrical really, but I'm hoping there's someone that can help give some advice based on experience?
Thank you.

We are also exploring using BricsCAD for Electrical & Telecommunications design. We're starting to investigate "Design Master" software, which can be used inside Autocad or BricsCAD. Other than that, there seems to be very slim pickings for the Electrical side of MEP BIM.

Update: Looks like Design Master is a no-go for us, as it is USA-based Electrical and offered in Imperial only. As a Canadian design firm, we need to be able to adapt the software for the Canadian Electrical Code, plus most of our projects are metric.

Something to keep in mind: if you can find a suitable Acad-only add-on, ask the developer to port it to BricsCAD.
