Formatted support requests

IS there any way to format (bold, italic, monospaced text, etc.) text in the support request editor?

I see the following issues:

1) Blank lines (made with the ENTER key in the editor) are removed.
2) Font effects only appear as underlines before and after the selected text, the font itself is not changed. Here I see the effects when I click the preview button (see file listing below, which should be in italic). But there is no such button in the support request form.
3) No WYSIWYG.
4) Some kind of formatting is happening because when pasting a linux ls -l output, normal files permissions started with rw-r... are crossed out, as shown in the attached screenshot.
This doesn't happen if I paste the output here.
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 34 Jan 25 12:26 ./icons/gnome/128×128/mimetypes/gnome-mime-application-x-bricscadv18.png -> /usr/share/pixmaps/bricscadv18.png

Browser in Firefox 58 with noscript addon, but both bricsys.com and ajax.googleapis.com are allowed.

TIA.

    I also asked myself why it is that way.
    If developers prefer it that way (?)
    If find it hardly readable and add "." Points to enter blank lines
    to format my SR text walls ....

  • And I would like to extend that WYSIWYG thoughts for the Forum itself.
    "Double" Blank Lines get also filtered.

    And I miss the usual option for eMail Notifications, to just send one Mail
    only per new Posts in a Thread until revisited.
