Isometric view via command-line

The command _-view offers me front / back / right ....

But I found that I can also use "SWISO" or "NEISO" ....

Question:
What is the command "looking up from floor to sky"? SWISO is looking from sky to floor ...

Comments

  • That doesn't exist, but if you first create it as a named view then you can use it.

  • One of the _-view options is 'bottom' .... 'looking up from floor to sky'

  • @Steven_g
    thanks. I would say a missing feature. Even SWISO and NEISO are "hidden views."

    @Hans De Backer
    thanks too. I meant a diagonal / isometric view and not the "straight from button - view" :)

  • Something like (command "-vpoint" "rotate" "45" "-45") ?

    Thanks. A simple one-liner ... :blush:

  • It's known as worms eye view, and not many programs have that set, the other command to try is -vp -1,-1,-1, this sets the point you are viewing 'from' in relation to the ucs 0,0,0

  • Thanks to both. My knowledge in 3D-navigation is not the best ...

  • If you hold down the Ctrl-key when selecting a view in the LookFrom widget the view orientation is looking upwards.
