Bricsys V18.2.08-1
I have installed this version V18.2.08-1 over the weekend. Seems like install went without a problem,
However I have V16 installed on another computer, NOT able to open V18 dwg files on previous versions once saved with V18.
Need help to resolve this issue or will have to delete V18.

That is as expected.
v18 is compatible with AutoCAD's latest v18 file format.
Previous versions of BricsCAD & AutoCAD cannot read v18 .dwg format.
Workarounds:
1) Save your .dwg s as dwg 2013
2) This can be done automatically in Settings / Open And Save / Save Format / DWG 2013 -
Thanks Robt for quick replay. I will just have to upgrade other V16 to V18 and that should solve my problem.

It is my understanding (based on an SR discussion) that the default SAVEFORMAT setting for V18 is 4 (= DWG 2013). So the OP's problem is a bit surprising unless that default has now changed. Anyway, changing the SAVEFORMAT to 4 in V18 would be another way to solve the problem.

I can't install v18.2-1 on my computer. The installation does not recognize c:\ as local drive
