Keep Layer(s) selected when switching Viewports
Is there a way to keep Layers selected (in the "Layer" Window) when
working in different Viewports? Right now the selection gets lost when
I change the Viewport. Maybe this is controlled by some Systemvariable?

Can you clarify what you mean with 'keeping layers selected' when switching viewports?
Did you check out if setting up a filter in the LayerControl can't do what you want.
