Trouble Installing Latest Version

I have just tried to download and install the latest Linux version.

I am running 64bit Linux Mint 18.3 and tried to install the .deb package using GDebi.
I got the error message. "Could not install", "Package is not a Debian package."
Any thoughts?

    I see 3 options to download Bricscad for Linux :

    • Ubuntu
    • Fedora, Open Suse
    • Custom Installation

    Have you tried the Custom option ?
    Even as a Linux beginner, I would not take such error messages too serious
    about the reason of the error. Maybe just a too new Linux version or such
    things (?)
    I installed the Ubuntu download on Ubuntu and Kubuntu and that went
    very well. (Thanks Bricsys for providing an installer)
