Problem with conecting Elements automaticly

Hallo! I have a problem with connect walls automaticly. I always import my data from another surveying program as ifc. format.
When i connect the walls befor in the other program it the conners are often seperated. And when I try to connect them with the modell function it does not work.
And I get a message : "Wall can not be connected to linear element". What does that mean?
When I can connect and want to extend one end it is imposible. All ends will extend in various directions.
How can I extend just one side of the connected wall?
I hope, someone can help me

Please file a support request and attach the model and a description of what you want to achieve. Our analysts will be glad to help you out.

  • All these operations like BIMCONNECT work for true Solids only.
When I import DWGs or IFC, those intelligent Objects from other BIM
solutions may not always come in as Solids. Especially for more complex
Walls like multi-ply Walls or when Doors and Windows inserted.
(Because they mostly aren't true Solids but some custom Mesh Objects
in the other BIM solution already)

You have to check as which objects they come in (Surfaces, separate 3D Faces, ...)
and in the worst case recreate Solids from them manually to be able to edit
    them in Briscacd BIM.
