Unit input in feet without '

As standard when entering a line length, 5 ENTER will result in a 5 inch line. How can I set it so a 5 ENTER will result in a 5 foot line. If I want 5'-5", I'll still enter the full string but 5.6 ENTER resulting in 5'-6" would be great since most of my inputs are larger than 12".

    On my system, the asterisk on the numeric keypad sends a single quote to Bricscad. So I can enter dimensions in feet and inches on the keypad.

    That's done by MacroExpress, which can translate any keystroke into any string of characters. The translation can apply to all programs or only to selected ones.
