Command Prompt: No window pop-up after command, just additional questions

When I type in a command, I get a bunch of other questions and not a pop-up window. What commands can control this? ATTDEF? FILEDIA?

    Try PRINT command (vs PLOT command).
    PLOT: "Plots drawings to printers and to files, through prompts at the command bar; this command is meant for scripts and routines."
    PRINT: "Prints drawings to plotters and files through a dialog box."

    If this applies to other commands as well: check your CMDDIA setting.

    Does CMDDIA actually control anything in BCAD? It doesn't that I know of anymore in ACAD (but it does in ACAD MAP).

    You are right CMDDIA is obsolete in BricsCAD as well.

    I think that this is controlled by FILEDIA. Set it to 1 to enable dialog windows.
