Unfreeze layer
I mainly use the pallete to freeze, isolate etc layers.
For Freeze or thaw a layer of choice can be done through Explorer, but what or is there an Alias to bring up a choice of layers to thaw?
If I use Unfreeze from palette it thaws the lot and doesn't give options.
I realise I can use Layer states but that's not what I'm after.
Comments appreciated thanks.

Richard,
Could this routine be of use?

Thanks David. It looks like it would.
I agree with the comment from a poster wanting a single command.
But then it adds more.Actually works very well.
Nice routine.
I created an alias and Eureka!0 -
FYI: probably you are aware, but just in case:
clicking the head of any column (also color, plot style,...) will sort the layers in the Layer Panel or the Layer Explorer accordingly. Clicking it again will revert the sort order.
This makes it easy to select a group of layers with a certain property, and next, any property that is set will be applied to the selected range.0 -
Thanks Hans. Yes aware of that option.
Bit lazy perhaps but also used to another Cad (surveying) program where the Layers palette has this option for 'Thaw' and it's something I grew up with.
In reality the keystrokes with your option is the same as the lisp routine.
Mm! Well that shoots my argument down now I think about it.0
