Leaders

I am a former AutoCAD user trying to get work done in BricsCAD. For the most part I have figured out a way to be productive, but Leaders are proving very difficult and inefficient to use.
I am used to a leader consisting of one unit that had both text and the leader. They had one combined set of properties and moving they was easy. BricsCAD treats them as separate entities and that is creating all kinds of problems.

Examples of these problems are:

• You have to change settings twice, once for text and once for the leader
• Leader styles are missing most of the settings that are available in properties which makes the first problem much worse.
• Moving text doesn't move the leader properly
• Leader lines show up for no reason
• Rotate with view setting is a mess

It this just a shortcoming of BricsCAD or am I missing some settings that I'm not utilizing?

I am using version 18.

Leaders or MLeaders? Which are you talking about? Or are you perhaps confusing them?

I realized since that I was confusing Leaders and MLeaders. Silly me.
