You used to be able to specify block scale on insert from tool palatte, no mas.

I used to set scale to 0 and it would ask on insert.
Whahappen?

    I can confirm Doug's findings. In V16 you could enter zero for the block scale in the Tool Palette properties of the block. The _-Insert command would then prompt for a valid value. In V17 and V18 this no longer works. The only solution I see (apart from a feature request) is creating a command tool for the _-Insert sequence.

    Turns out on insert you can select scale before placement, so set your tool definitions to your default scale, then modify if different.
