Tables - changing cells V18 Platinum
This probably should be obvious to me but it's not. How can you take a single cell within a table and split it into two? Wanted to make a table like the one attached but the only way I can see doing it is to make it as a bunch of separate tables. Do I need to buy a 3rd party utility to do this?

Can't you just do an "add column"? To have the effect of splitting a single cell, you'd have to add the column and then do a merge for the cells you didn't want to be split.
Tedious to do for an existing large table, of course. Possibly LISP-able? Didn't see anything relevant in a quick search of Lee Mac's site.

Thanks Richard, I finally figured it out. Like you said, kept adding columns & rows then merging/resizing them. Took awhile but the end result looks good in my humble opinion - see attached. Seems like there ought to be more options in this area but it's workable.
