How to get "extmin" and "extmax" in rotated UCS?

"extmin" and "extmax" always show the data, based on WCS.

But how to get "extmin" and "extmax" in rotated UCS?

  • Dear Peter,

    please see the (trans) function - it can transform a point / vector to / from WCS + UCS ...
    should work then...

    @Peter2
    If you don't like the solution in that thread (still waiting for a response...) maybe you can do something with _Zoom+_Extents and then translate 'screen points'.

  • Yes, I started the question at "the swamp", because I started with AutoCAD and Lisp.
    But under Bricscad I thought that there is maybe a special internal command for it, but regrettably not.

    I will soon answer at "the swamp"

  • Well, the the alternative approach I have suggested will not work. Zoom extents also calculates a box around the WCS box defined by EXTMIN and EXTMAX.
