Activation error: No rehostable hostid top-level dir (error code -148)

Hello,

What is wrong when I get the following error code when trying to activate licence for BricsCAD Shape V18.2.06 (x64) in a Windows computer: "Activation error: No rehostable hostid top-level dir (error code -148)? How can I fix it? See the attached screenshot. I have reinstalled software, it did not fix the problem.

    I was the same problem on linux. Solution for my problem it was permission to file (LicenseManager.cfg) and directory.
    I added permission to write for user and group, before user (root) has read and access and group (root) only read permission.

    My error was "rehostable host id exists (-153) Bricscad" In Fedora 30 I had to delete the /var/tmp/bricsys directory.

    rm -r /var/tmp/bricsys
