Suppressing dimension and extension lines
I would like to suppress all dimension, extension lines, arrows etc except the text which I place manually.
I seem to have turned off all settings in dimstyles but am still left with the dimension line visible.

It is the Dim line 1 (DIMSD1) and Dim line 2 (DIMSD2) properties of the Dimension style that control whether to suppress the first and second part of the dimension line or not. Set both properties to YES to suppress the dimension line.

It's a bit confusing that 'Dim line 1: Yes' in the Explorer means no dim line.

Yes that's confusing. The tip when hovering over the variable in the Drawing Explorer/Dimension Styles helps: Dim line 1 (DIMSD1) "Suppresses first part of the dimension line ...." You can blame AutoDesk for that

In older versions there is no confusion because On/Off is used (where Off=Suppressed). To make things clearer why not revert back to that, or use 'Suppress dim line 1: Yes'? Another thing, a minor detail, why use 'LW' instead of 'lineweight'?0
