Ubuntu 18.10 installing bricscad to try it but the software is not loading

I recently upgraded my laptopn to ubuntu 18.10, and i downloaded bricscad 18.2.25 and installed it with no problem, but when i launch the programe it does not start at all, just closes on its own without opening, any help please?

    I had a similar issue when I first installed Bricscad on Ubuntu 18.04. Bricscad would startup for like a second and then automatically shutdown. It turned out to be a graphics driver issue - I was using an open-source graphics driver instead of the recommended Nvidia driver.

    I fixed the problem by switching to the Nvidia driver and restarting.
