Customise left hand side of "Open Drawing" Dialogue box
Hi to all, is there anyway to add specific folders in the "Left hand side" where Quick Access / Desktop/Libraries/..... of the "Open Drawing" for the life of me I cant find out where I can add a folder that I use constantly.

I think this would be a very good idea.
I was very pleased in the past by Microstation Start Dialog.
Normally you would switch folders simply by switching between
Projects in Dropdown.
But there was also a nice Icon to show a bunch of recent used Paths,
which I often used.Currently in such cases in Bricscad, you have to skip the dialog first
by "load other", wait for the UI and start searching in the file explorer.
(At least on Mac (only?) you then have access to your standard Finder
Folder Bookmarks/Favorites)And for me even the "Recent Files" list is somehow hard to read as it is.
Don't really know what the problem is, 2 Column Layout and its sorting,
vertical vs horizontal (?)
Anyway, for me, it often needs some more amount of concentration
and is a bit more error prone to open the correct files, than elsewhere.0 -
In Windows Explorer add as many folders as you wish to the Quick access on the left side. In the Open Drawing dialog box in BricsCAD you have Quick access icon on the left - click on it to have access to all the folders.

In SETTINGS search for "Places Bar". Listed under this you'll find options to configure the shortcuts you want to appear on the file dialogue.

Lund the solution a small app “places bar”. That makes fav folders appear where you need the. When selecting, saw this on an earlier post, great little program, be aware that the folders are set in other programs bt default. But for me suits fine.
