When you say beginner, are you talking about someone new to CAD design, or perhaps someone already well versed in AutoCAD basics, who need to get transferred to BricsCAD?
A conference tends to provide a lot of information very fast. So, I doubt a beginner at using CAD programs will not be able to take full advantage of it, and so I doubt the cost/time would be worth it.
If your users are novice CAD users, then I suggest you consider sending them to an "introduction to AutoCAD class". Of course you could create such a class in-house. It might be done in person, but a video using a screen recording program may also be a good approach. If you do your own version, you can focus just on the features that your company uses. Though, I think the very basic getting started information tends to be very generic, and so you might use what is already available from Bricsys, but later add some custom ones for more advanced topics.
