Quick Draw - Z level ?
Question to the Community :
Shouldn't Quickdraw always start in Z= - Slab Thickness ?
So that Slab's Top is at 0.00
And if so, if that is not possible or too tedious for the Tool,
should it be better communicated that we need to adjust
or current Elevation to the desired Z level before ?

Go Michael Go - tho I'm currently back working in 2D so not trying out all that you describe - it's valuable stuff.
I hope Brics guys take the time to read, understand and take note of this gift of enthusiasm you're giving to the community.0 -
Thanks Tom.
With many of my Feature or Change Requests I am not sure
if it really makes sense, being useful or just disturbing for
other users, or run into limitations which I am not aware of.

Assuming that the finished floor level is usually a bit higher than the elevation of the ground on which a house is built, I wonder what is most often used at z=0 in 3d models: the finished floor or the ground surface ? It looks like Michael prefers to have Z=0 on the finished floor. How about the rest of the world ?

Yes, finished ground floor level = 0.00

I think that is at least a standard in Germany.
I have never seen anything else here.Finish Floor of the Entrance Level Story is 0.00 m.
Ground Level seldom is level anyway.
And Finish Floor is what matters for most people at the end.(Therefore, at the end of the Structural Building Phase,
someone will mark the "1 Meter Line" around the Walls of each
Room which is 1,00 m above the (not yet existing) Finish Floor,
so that all Finishing works will orient on those 1 Meter lines)So at least in Section plans you will find somwhere a :
Finish Floor = +- 0.00 (= 435 m above sea level)0
