16 button programmable cursor

I started autocad in 1986 with a 12 x 12 digitizer and a 16 button cursor. I still use both with acad 2002. Does bricscad have a method for accepting input from any form of programmable multi button mouse/cursor? If so, what types of devices are available for this use?

  • I think it does still support digitizer tablets. See information here, here, and here.

You can download and use Bricscad for free for 30 days to try it out.

  • It should work with Wacom (+Remote) where you can can apply all
kind of Shortcuts, Macros, Pie Menus and Functions by their driver
    for any available buttons.
These Settings work individual for each App which gets their own Profile.

Same thing for 3D Connection devices.
(Space Mouse Enterprise + CADMouse here)
Bricscad even delivers all Commands and Tools including Icons on
    Enterprises Display.

Beside there is no real Wacom Pen Input support in Bricscad.
    Just some legacy digitizer support.
I use a Wacom Cintiq 27 Pen Display as the only Display and Input
    device nevertheless on Mac.

  • thank you. I am looking to use what I have ... a 16 button cursor with the CalComp 12x12 tablet
