Rectangular Selection ?

Does it allowed in Shape version? (Right or Left)

For me seems not! Mysteriously disapeared!

I have seen a little rectangle + circle cursor on the screen but impossible to make it return!

Escape..Space... nothing works for its return!

Marquee Selection Right/Left or blue/green works fine here.

For me it looks like Shape is frozen ...
(when even multiple ESC won't bring you back)
I would restart Shape and/or PC.

there is totally absent from beginning and restart computer!
Not problem of Open GL or similar ?

But all my hundred of programs work like a charm !

A have a bad serial number version!

Officiallly there are no "Settings" for Shape.
Of course it uses similar "Settings" as Bricscad and you
could change (or destroy) them by editing the text file.

In Bricscad there is a Setting for OpenGL which can produce
artifacts when in wrong mode (for your specific hardware ?)

Maybe your "Settings" are corrupted,
and you could rename your settings
(normally hidden and called "config")
and maybe even your whole AppData\Roaming\Bricscad Shape Folder
before you start Shape.

I know where the "config" is on Mac, as I was often told to rename or
delete it. Unfortunately I don't find it on Windows so far ....

All uninstall / install not more better!
Find file settings.dtd, settings.xml both seems "normal"
Not yet found config. Files in Application data Roaming help not!

Works in the version 18 ! Not in the Versions 19 !
So for me a big bug somewhere...

Same problem in my Mac version...this is why now I use Windows via Bootcamp on my Mac, not only for Shape.

It still works for me here as shown in the video
on my trash can Mac Pro.
(And on Windows of course)

Are the problematic Installations on machines without dedicated
GPU, like Mac Books with Intel Graphics on CPU only ?

Generally, the settings that went corrupt sometimes for me on Mac
are not the ones in the User Library Shape Folder :

Very very curious!
I install the V 19 in Spanish and that works fine!
So for me only the English version can't run the "rectangular selection"!

who is not a great thing for me who speak only French & English!

Strange.

I had some problems at my beginning too, after I tested Bricscad Trials
in english and german.
If you don't already have put too much time in settings and configuration,
I would delete the whole Bricscad User Folder and especially the whole
hidden .bricscad Folder.

Ok Solved!

As you said kill the config folder makes the trick!
"Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bricsys\BricsCAD Shape\V19x64\en_US\Profiles\Shape" and delete the "Config

Difficulty for me was find this! That was epic!

Now that is fine! For the French version of the V 19 i must be patient! That is in the pipeline!
Will be in the SR91986 !
