Is it possible to change the appearance of the room stamp?
change the size of the room number, or turn off the room number, but to show the floor covering, room height, etc...
or to create a customized template for the room stamp?

Is it possible to create a stamp from some rooms? like to create the sum for all rooms of an apartment?
the easiest way would be to select all rooms and create a sum of this rooms as a stamp. (without creating a separate table etc.)

  • Hi fs_at12!

Yes, it is possible to change the appearance of the room stamp. You can update "_RoomCallout.dwg" located in AppData\Roaming\Bricsys\BricsCAD\V19x64\en_US\Support\Bim\Sections. You can customize and add new entities to the drawing. However, attribute definitions aside from the default three (room name, room number, and room area), will not be reflected in the room stamp. You can change the size of or erase any of the default three, though.

The updated room stamp will be used when you create rooms in new drawings. But for old drawings that already have rooms, the previous stamp will still be used during room creation. In this case, you can re-define the room stamp by running INSERT and selecting the updated "_RoomCallout.dwg" from AppData.

And last but not the least, unfortunately, it is not possible to create a single stamp for multiple rooms.

  • Hi Marcelino,
thank you pointing me the location for the "_RoomCallout.dwg",
I think editing it will solve most of my requests.
