No UCS after importing file in 3d company software

Hello,
I have a dwg file that is linked to Cloudworx from Leica. When I am drafting I create a new UCS, so that the X as is parallel to the mean wall of the building. That works fine.
But if I send the file when finished to a colleague or an architect, he receives the file but everything is in World coördinates, even the elevation. I made in my UCS the elevation Z=0=height of the ground floor.
I didn't found a solution on the internet yet.
Thanks for your support.

  • Coordinate systems can be hard to understand. If you switch to a different UCS existing objects in modelspace do not change at all, the CAD program just shows translated coordinates (WCS/OCS->UCS). And newly created objects are created in the WCS, with the CAD program again translating coordinates (UCS->WCS/OCS).
The easiest way to translate objects so that their UCS coordinates become WCS coordinates is to use the _Wblock command while the UCS is active and choose the origin as the insertion point.
