Permanently hide or color selected edges

Hi,

I'm making a few dynamic components, but I can't find how you hide or color with the same material selected edges.
I'd like to hide the seams in the architrave on this dynamic component (attached image.)

Kind regards

  • Hmmh,
These edges appear in your OpenGL Modeler Window,
which I think is pretty useful.

These should not appear when you Render a View.
These shouldn't appear in Hidden Line Views, if Bricscad's
HL Renderer cares about such things (?)
And there is a Setting to make them disappear in Sections
    or Viewports on Paper Space.

You don't want to see them at all, even in Wireframe Modes ?
I think that is not implemented (?)

  • @Michael Mayer Thank's, that's helpful. I'm very much Sketchup oriented still, where selecting any edge like the loop on the ends of these architrave sections you can just click hide, and that joint becomes seamless in any visual style. But from your feedback, if I can just find a way to hide them in sections, that's good enough for me. Cheer's.

That option to not show edges between geometries of same materials,
was shown for Compositions of Wall Connections.

I keep my fingers crossed for you that it works for your standard Solids too :)

I am not experienced with plans and 2D,
but I think there are also a lot of options in "Visual Styles" and in "Section Planes"
that might be worth testing too (?)
