Layers set to 'no plot' are still printed

Hi all,
I created a very simple layout with 3 viewports on one sheet. While the viewports are put on a layer with plot status set to 'no plot', they still show up as very thin lines (see the green lines in the screenshot attached). Checked in Illustrator, the line thickness is 0, but it's still visible in Acrobat. Is there something to do about it?

It was only the case of viewports that were created in AutoCad before. Viewports created in BricsCad don't show this behavior.

Origami is the Japanese word for paper folding. ORI means to fold and KAMI means paper and involves the creation of paper forms usually entirely by folding.
