Tool Palette Tab location

Not sure where to post this...
I would be beautiful if one had the option of having the tabs on the tool palette on the side instead of the bottom.
I normally work with the tool palette open and docked on the right side of my screen. Tabs on the bottom get truncated where if they were on the side, they would all be visible and quicker to select.

    Are there any suggestions on how to work with a toolbar with many tabs scrunched in at the bottom?
    I currently have to hit the small arrow on the bottom right to select the correct tab. I have a 4k monitor setup so that arrow is literally 1 mm square.
    (All the other ui elements have adapted well to 4k. "except for the eentzy weentzy little tool palette arrow")

    It also depends on which operating system you are.
    Windows, macOS or which Linux Distro and Desktop Environment.
    (I have even differences on KDE between Manjaro and Tumbleweed)

    For me it is also very difficult to target the callapse/expand arrows
    in Settings or Structure Tree in a small 24" but 4K setup.

    Also Ribbon Icon Size Options are always 50% off.
    In default size, small Icons in Ribbon are too small and hard to read,
    in a larger Icon Size, the large Icons are too big and old standard Toolbars
    like "Access 3D" get too big.
