Dimension primary and alt unit's of measure the same ?

Is it possible to have the dimension primary and alternate unit's of measure the same (Inch) ?
Also - is it possible to have the fractions on a single line ?

    Good question. Yes, there absolutely is. You might want to create a new dimstyle before doing so.
    Open your dimstyle settings, and enable alternate units. (See Attached)
    Upon further review, it appears I misunderstood your question.
    Let me keep looking...

    See this thread. Appears the user was able to accomplish this by using alternative units, and by changing the scale factor for the main units.

    Good evening Craig -

    Thank you for your link. My situation is similar but different. I need inches (Only-no feet) and fractions to accommodate the tape measures used here in the states in most shops. (Most tape measures indicate feet but only every 12 inches) I need decimal with 4 digit precision for the CNC router and the customer. I understand the premise of your link , changing other aspects of the the primary and alt units to obtain what I need. Thank you

    Doesn't:
    Alt units = Fractional
    Alt scale factor = 1
    Give the desired result?
