BricsCAD v21 Pro - some bugs I encountered so far

Export to 3D PDF doesn't work :
" _exportpdf
The specified module could not be found.
C:\Program Files\Bricsys\BricsCAD V21 en_US\OdPrc2PdfModule_21.4_15.tx"

Exploding non-uniformley scaled block doesn't work with 3D Solids - maybe it's by design?. Works with meshes and 2d geometry.
Selecting multiple solid faces and extruding them via Solid Extrude, or moving them with Manipulator crashes BricsCAD - Push/Pull works as expected.

Comments

  • Ok when starting the program it opens fairly quickly but the mouse jumps around on the drawing like with a large invisible snap that renders it useless for appr 15 sec.
Then it releases and everything is fine.

    Now that you say ...

If the PC is in idle,
in Bricscad, my 3D Connexion CADMouse cursor will, at some point,
start to move in one arbitrary direction,
until it hits an edge of the Screen.

    Slowly but sustained.
Looks like some insect walking along your screen.

  • FYI, CTRL3DMOUSE=0 disables the 3d mouse. It can be re-enabled at runtime in V21. Before V21 you had to restart.

  • I don't think it is the 3D Mouse (Enterprise), which I also have plugged in.
As it would more likely move or rotate my geometry in the view window,
    when not proper calibrated/centered.

I think in this case it is really the CADMouse only that controls the cursor.
    But who knows....

AFAIK that happened in Bricscad only.
    But not 100% sure.
    Will observe it further.
