Bearing and Distance annotation for lines

Wondering if there are any lisp commands available to annotate the bearing and distance for lines.
For example:
bearing 58°01'35"
distance 45.715

    ... that displays bearing and distance. If you stretch the grips (or make a copy) the values update on the next regen command. While you're there take a look at the MapWorks add-on for BricsCAD that does this (better) and a WHOLE lot more.
