Getting Communicator Working

Greetings! I have BricsCAD mechanical 21.1.06 running on Mac OS X Catalina.

I tried to install Communicator (Trial Version), but I must have missed something with installing it because the program is not recognized.

When run CommunicatorINFO commands I get:

A BricsCAD Pro Level License: OK
'CommunicatorPath' setting has incorrect value or Communicator initialization is broken.
Please set the value to the Communicator Installation path or reinstall it.
Communication license: OK
Communicator module loading: FAILED
Use=Communicator setting (1 or 2): OK

I'm not sure how to set the path or maybe I have something more fundamentally wrong here. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Did you try to de-install Communicator and then install it again? Perhaps there was a transient bug/error during installing communicator.

    You may also want to check through license management if the trial activation has been completed, maybe you need to try again to activate the trial license for communicator.

  • Thank you. I'll give that a shot.
