Joining Solids
Hi!
I am new to BricsCAD 3D modeling and i have a basic question i guess. Cannot seem to fins an answer anyway
So i create a 3D solid, then I extrude a hole in the solid. After a while i decide to fill the hole again. How can I join the 2 solids into 1 now: (the hole and the erest of the 1st solid drawn)?
I have tried the commands: JOIN, UNION, CONNECT,... nothing seems to work. I also cannot use the BIM tools
I am attaching a picture where u can see the filled solid (with the hole which was filled).
Can someone help me please?
Thank you and kind regards!

The UNION command unifies 3D solids.
See https://help.bricsys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006592294-Union
To delete a hole in a 3D solid, select the faces of the hole, then launch the Erase command.0 -
Hello Louis!
Thank you for your response. I would like to ask you how do I select the faces of the hole?
I tried using the tool "Prioritize selection of faces" but it does not work.
Any ideas?
Thank you and kind regards!0 -

When using Window select you can use the Ctrl-key to cycle between select solid - select faces - select edges. The icon next to the cursor and the Hotkey Assistant widget indicate the current selection mode. See movie in attachment.
