Add part to existing exploded view

Hello,

I have a complete drawing of an assembly and now there is a update witch requires an extra part to the assembly.
How can I add this part to the exploded view? Or do I have to make a completely new exploded view?

  • Hello,

as far as I know, you may try to use BMUPDATE. This command should add missing parts while not touching parts that are already present in the exploded view. If it doesn't work, please feel free to submit a support request.

    Best regards,
    Maxim Shilovsky.

  • Hello Maxim,

Thank you for your reply, but BMUPDATE does nothing to the exploded view.
I think the problem is that the exploded view is a block that is created by the selection for the exploded view.

That is my impression too so for now I'd suggest to file a support request as Maxim mentioned.

Origami
Origami is the Japanese word for paper folding. ORI means to fold and KAMI means paper and involves the creation of paper forms usually entirely by folding.
