Block insertion problem

When inserting a block while a rotated local UCS is active, leaving the defaults (pressing Enter), the block is inserted with default scale=1 (OK), but with rotation angle entered as 0 refered to GLOBAL USC instead of local UCS as expected. Zero rotation should be relative to local UCS, similar to coordinates? I think this is an error - at least compared to ACAD behaviour. Vaclav

Comments

  • I agree. Same goes for hatching, it is always relative to the global UCS, which it shouldn't be.

  • Any indication from BricsCAD that these errors will be gone in the next release? These really don't seem to be a serious problem to correct. And when is the next release expected? Regards Vaclav
