Visualizing custom BIM properties in generated views (rehabilitation)?

Hi All
I'm delivering a BIM course to a client that works in rehabilitation of old buildings. One important aspect is to reference elements damage (typically wood elements). I'm teaching how to create two BIM properties: a reference and a damage factor.
Besides extracting this to a table/excel, is it possible to tag elements with these properties? And would it be possible that these elements get automatically different colors in 2D drawings, according to their damage state? Probably the last question only with programming, but there should be an easy way to place a custom pproperty associated to a tag.

Hi João,
you can refer to any property in tags, also the custom made properties and quantities.

you can use drawing customization to change the appearances of lines generated from Bim entities based on properties:

both will have updates and a simpler setup in our next v22 release

An update of the drawing customization would be much appreciated.

IMO the actual way of customizing of the intersection and elevation fills is not optimal. The styles does not include hatch type, which can be modified only by applying appearance override.

Hi João,
We redesigned drawing customization and combined them with tag customization in 'Typed plans'. You can see them in the breakout session 'Automate Construction Documentation' (min 12).

The same session 9min 1:30) talks about the new tags (based on mfiels) that are much easier to set up.

I've lost custom BIM properties in v22, nowhere to be found in properties panel. Where did they go?
