BIMsection layers in viewports

Does someone know if it´s possible to freeze a layer that's inside a generated BIMsection (block) in a viewport with VP Freeze? It seems as I can only control the layer visibility of BIM sections in viewports by using global On/Off and global Freeze. Entities that are manually drawn in model space works fine and can be controlled by VP Freeze.

    I cannot either VP freeze layers in normal blocks, only global Freeze and On/Off is working for blocks also. If this is how it works it is not possible for example to have different layers visible (for blocks) in different viewports or layouts. Is this really how it is supposed to work or am I missing something?
