Drawing View Labels and Title Blocks

Hello:

I am trialling the mechanical tools with the intent of replacing another software package but I am struggling with a few things that I require to make my drawings clear and easy for the fab shop to follow. Consider the following simple assembly, it is comprised of a piece of pipe, a sheet metal piece, a plate and a couple of gussets all welded together. My components are all local and I want to show a detail view of each component on my drawing so that it can be built. I can select individual components when using VIEWBASE and this is great for showing the details but I now need to add a label under each view with the part number. Something similar to the item bubble but pulling the part number from the BOM would work well but I can't figure out how to pull some other value from the BOM into a block or bit of text. Any ideas?
