Generation of vector PDF (or SVG) with filled surfaces

Hi all,

I've been reading through the forum topics on generating vector PDFs, and experimenting with the various pathways mentioned here and in the docs (flatshot, export to SVG, legacy hidden line, &c).

I haven't found any indication that it is possible to generate a vector PDF or SVG that has filled (ie coloured) surfaces, for example a BIM style view.

Very curious if anyone knows of a way or has found a sane workflow or workaround, because raster PDFs are not acceptable to my clients.
