hatch scale too small

Hi,
I am used to drafting in inches, where the hatch scale us usually OK. In mm I am having problems. With DIMSCALE=20 I got arrow heads on dimensions to look good. But Section view arrows are still tiny. Also, the cross hatch looks almost invisible it is so small.

This starts with a solid model. I did VIEWBASE to generate some 2D views in a layout. Then I did VIEWSECTION to get a cross section view. Here is what it looks like:
The drawing is attached as "hatch scale small.dwg".

I tried a different Annotation scale, 10:1. The hatch was visible. But the Standard Scale also blew up to 10:1 and the part was too large.

Any suggestions?
