Recent problem publishing a PDF file longer than 5000mm

hi all -

on my earlier BC V15 i used to publish long drawings (needed for my work) - longer than 5000mm - i used an HP designjet driver, and got a PDF file accordingly (i then had problems printing that file to paper by a plotter at the local agency, but at least i had the PDF file correctly).
Moving to V22, using the same DSD file, page set up configuration etc., it's not working anymore - i get "paper size or margins are invalid" message at the command line after attempting to publish.
i know generally PDF are not possible beyond 5000mm (using, i.e. PDFCreator), but fact is it worked for me before, using the HPGL driver.

Anyone has an idea ?
