eSnap Locks up BricsCad v21

When I right eSnap the snap settings check box window pops up but I can't change anything because BricsCad locks up. Sometimes the whole computer locks for a while and finally lets me close BricsCad.

Is this a common problem?

Should give up trying to use BricsCad v21 Linux? I haven't been able to produce one drawing with it all year long. I try it. I have a problem and finish my drawing with v15 which runs well.

How well is v22 Linux running?

    OK I have a work around. If I enter OSnap and pull up the settings popup that way, it works.

    But if I right click ESnap at the bottom of the screen, then there's a lockup. It clears if you wait a minute and close the popup without changing the esnap settings.
