Parametric Sheet Metal Holes
Hi.
Is there a way to quickly model parametric holes for sheet metal?
I tried to use rectangular array to multiply the holes but i cant select it.
The other method, of creating parametric array of cylinders/hole cut tools and then inserting it into the sheet metal file to substract is time consuming and you cant change parameters that fast.
Is there really no way to create fully parametric hole array in sheet metal parts?

Hello Gregory,
You are correct you can't array a hole you extruded.
You have 2 options here
1. From the library use the parametric hole and array that.
2. Make a parametric 2D sketch and array the sketch and extrude the holes.
I personally use option 1, but you are right its not perfect. especially when compared to Inventor or Solid works.

You can subtract an array of cylinders. See the attached example (note: created with V18).0
