Seeking routines for long-section / cross-section based on v22 alignment

Dear all,

I am glad to see the alignment-based designs approach developing. Maybe one day it is being integrated with existing approaches to generate design documentation. To take it as it is currently available to me, I am seeking customizable routines/scripts for generating long-sections (including bands) from v22 alignments. A second step would be to be able to generate a set of cross-sections.

I would highly appreciate if anybody out there has developed anything the like and is willing to share.

Kind regards

Sebastian

  • DotSoft's MapWorks for BricsCAD is compatible with v22 Alignments and Surfaces as well as 'back' filling the other areas such as Profiles, Sections, Parcels, Points and much more. I'm afraid it's not shareware but it is very affordably priced.

Civil Site Design runs on Bricscad , it also has sewer and drainage. https://civilsitedesign.com/

Hopefully this will open Bricscad recent seminar. It is really impressive and shows how to really use Civil Site design.

  • @ALANH @Terry Dotson thanks for your hints.

Supercool would be an integration with the project browser from the BIM module in order to update documentation outside of model space and a similar customizeable block model for documentation (bands etc.). Just fantasizing...
