Polar Extension of lines

I recently upgraded from V21 to V22 and one of the settings I can't get enabled is polar extension as shown in the attachment. When I draw lines I like having the polar extension magnets allowing me to draw the vertical line to a length of 10'-8" and 3'-7" off from the corner of the red box off to the left of the image.

    Have you turned on Polar tracking, try hitting F10 (the polar tracking toggle) to see if this does the trick for you... Edit, I can see after playing in my system that is not the issue that you are seeing, do you have snap tracking enabled? Try toggling this with F11...
