rotated dimension

Is it normal for the software to rotate the drawing when I have a vertical aligned dimension?
I know that AutoCAD does not do this and it's very confusing when working with multiple annotations.

    AFAIK there was a Setting if it will rotate the view for better text visibility
    while editing or not.
