Advice for making constraint dimensions for parametric blocks visible
I am making some dynamic blocks, and want some parameters to be visible.
I have one constraint in a parametric block that should show as a dimension. I have made a parametric block where I used the regular dimension tool to create an associative dimension that I want to show. Also, since the block will be rotated in various ways when it is used, I would ideally like that visible dimension to not go upside down. It works, but I wonder if that is the best approach. I vaguely recall reading about a setting to have a dimensional constraint show up. But, can't find it in the online help.
Also, I would like some other parameters to be visible as an attribute. I realize the dimensional parameter would show up when I create a BOM for that block as a parameter. But, I want it to be visible on the block. I guess one way is to create a standard dimension, and edit it to remove the arrows, extension line, and dimension line. Is that the best approach?
