BIM properties with VBA

Hi,
I'd like extract bim properties (including custom properties) using VBA.
Is it possible? Any suggestion?

    You need to explain more, just "bim properties (including custom properties)" is not enough detail.

    I know with Autocad getting at custom properties is not simple, some properties need a external program to make calls to, which you can then get property values. An example is Autocad Architecture has a dll that needs to be loaded, but its not in CIV3D or Acad.
