Bimanalyticalmodel export question
I created a structural model, used BIMANALYTICALMODEL command to export the frame, but the programme I use to do my frame analysis will only import DXF stick models.
So, is there a way of exporting or creating the structural stick model (the member axis framework) on a separate layer or file, just the stick model geometry rather than full IFC output?

Hi Chris,
Not in the current implementation. I guess you could do a workaround by importing the model that was created with BIMANALYTICALMODEL and then convert the beams to lines with BIMAPPLYPROFILE/convert solids to Line.
You might want to put each profile on a layer with profile name when you export to dxf.0 -
